Mi práctica explora las relaciones entre memoria, territorio, desplazamiento y materia. Trabajo con fotografías descartadas, chatarra, residuos y fragmentos minerales y metálicos que recolecto, intervengo, ensamblo y registro. Me interesan las huellas que estos elementos contienen: historias, silencios y una energía que persiste más allá de su función o valor económico.
Desde una sensibilidad próxima al animismo japonés, concibo las cosas como portadoras de presencia y memoria. Recolectar implica subvertir su destino: alterar su contexto, transformar su significado y restituir aquello que fue relegado al descarte. En este tránsito, lo residual adquiere nuevas posibilidades de lectura y establece vínculos entre experiencia, territorio, historia y dimensión política.
Mi trabajo cuestiona las lógicas del consumo, el olvido y el descarte, atendiendo a aquello que permanece en lo usado, lo abandonado y lo aparentemente insignificante.

My practice explores the relationships between memory, territory, displacement, and matter. I work with discarded photographs, scrap metal, waste, and mineral and metallic fragments that I collect, intervene, assemble, and document. I am interested in the traces these elements contain: stories, silences, and an energy that persists beyond their function or economic value.
Drawing on a sensibility close to Japanese animism, I conceive of things as carriers of presence and memory. Collecting means subverting their fate: altering their context, transforming their meaning, and restoring what has been relegated to discard. In this transition, the residual acquires new possibilities for interpretation and establishes connections between experience, territory, history, and the political dimension.
My work questions the logics of consumption, oblivion, and discard, attending to what remains in the used, the abandoned, and the seemingly insignificant. Artistic practice thus becomes a way of reconfiguring the value of things and revealing the stories that survive within them.
